Hi!!!
My name is Matt Carty (Toronto, Canada) and just wanted to say how f**king happy I am to have found this incredible resource. Been trying to wrap my head around dnb for a couple of years now and this site is really helping. Big fan of dnb, breakbeat, dubstep, electro house, trance… hit me up if you like! Love to connect with other producers.
If you would like to hear what I’ve been up to lately- please please check out:

Hey Everyone!
I'm Jay from Long Beach, CA - US... Really glad to have become a member of this site.. I've been dj'ing (as a hobby) for a few years now and got the itch to start playing around with production. Really love what SA has done so far and can’t wait to get up to speed with Ableton and Reason... By no means do I have a musical background, but I'm hoping to learn as much as I can from fellow SA Members as well as the instructors...
Anyway, just wanted to say what’s up to everyone!
Welcome Jay!

please don’t be worried about asking “Noob” questions we are always gentle here at SA and things that you would normally get slated for on other forums will be answered as best they can on this forum.
Yep yep, feel free to ask newb questions however remember that they’ve probably already been asked before so try using the forum search first. :P:P
Hi everyone, I’m Col from the UK (up North!). I learned violin and trombone at school but only up to Grade 5 on violin. Played in school orchestra and brass band but didn’t keep it up. Got arthritis. Eventually, 2 decades later in 2007 I decided I had to do something because I HAD to start playing music again somehow! After a lot of research I got a computer-music setup with controller keyboard and Cubase 4 (upgraded to 5 now). Had nobody to learn from so I’m delighted to find this great resource and all you folks.
That’s a bit about me. I look forward to meeting you.
ONLY grade 5 on the violin!
channel that knowledge into your music making!!! it’s where a lot of people fall down and you’re already in the zone!

Hi all…
Name’s Syko. I hail from Northern Ireland, and have been DJing for over 10 years, and have always messed about with production thru the years, nothing too serious tho. The last year or so I took a leap and decided on being serious about it. You can check some of my work on Soundcloud → Stream Syko music | Listen to songs, albums, playlists for free on SoundCloud
I have so many projects on the go that I haven’t finished it’s a joke!
I haven’t decided what genre’s I want to stick to, so at the mo my projects include:
Hard Dance, Techno, Trance, an Oldskool sounding one, hardcore, experimental techno, electro, lol but I’m sure you all are aware of getting an idea and having to get it started before you forget!
Anyway, enough slabbering from me, hope to chat you all around somewhere.
Syko.
Hi all,
I’m from ‘norn ireland’, been lurking the forums for a while. Hope to get some feedback on productions and ‘the business end’ getting tracks released etc.

hey guys just fort id pop on over and say hello
so hey!!!
i suppose i shud do the whole a bit about me thing, well ive just got a numark omni control and traktor pro so i can lear to dj, i hjave no previous dj experience at all but think that digital is the way forward so im doing a bit of a baptism of fire at the mo as all my dj mates live up north and im in the south, im mainly into hard house but also fidget and dubsteo so i eventually want to learn to mix all of these styles, im also just about to try and learn (hopefully through this site) how to produce my own tunes using cubase.
so fingaz crossed i can get learning and hopefully start helping others as soon as possible.
cheers for your time guys i look forward to speaking to you all at one point or another!
much love
Carl-Tel
