Tbh i was struggling with this a fair bit… Got Paul (psycatron) in the studio last night and worked through some tracks and ideas.
Defo much more in the zone with it now.

No worries, I’d rather you take ur time and release quality tuts. So far I’ve found this series very helpful in learning how to lock in a tech house groove. About to watch the new ones you just posted:D
should have it wrapped up tomorrow… it really is all about tweaking and more tweaking until you lock it down and get it grooving.

awesome. yea, tut 17 solved some a lot of my issues w/ tweaking the loops
Phil, in the last part of the tutorial, you can’t get the riser to complete the 16 bar cycle. I think I know whats your problem. As you transpose up the reversed sample, it goes faster and I think that the time pace algorithm in simpler is directly proportional to transposing it. The higher you transpose, the faster the sample goes, the lower you transpose, the slower it goes. Hope it helps.
