I’ve never seen an advert on tv about apple macs (mainly because i only ever watch boxing and inbetweeners)
I’ve never seen and advert (at least to my knowledge) in any mags that i read.
If i’ve ever had a phone call from a company the gets as far as “hello sir we would like to” before i say “**** OFF” and smack the phone one the desk or wolf whistle down the phone.
but apparently anyone that owns a mac buys into their marketing crap.

Looks wise - impossible - That’s one thing that Mac’s cannot (at present) be beaten at. I just can’t see how other manafacturers can’t get the awesome looks of Apple down. Surely rounding the corners and using aluminium would be a start but there seems to be bugger all out there that can compete with appley goodness.
is looks not a big reason to buy something then?
some guys will build a car from scratch, tune the engine, the performance & make it look how they want while others walk on by the the ferrari garage and buy their dreams nothing wrong with either mans choice.
Its the same with mac and pc, some build and some buy and the reason why i would consider the mac to be the ferrari of the computer world is because like the ferrari its designed to look as nice as it performs.
a ferrari?its more like one of those vw bugs with a porche body kit.i promise to drop it now,if anyone is happy with whatever they buy and use thats all that really matters.just dont make whats basically the same thing as a upper midrange hp or other brand pc to be something much more than it is just because it comes with osx installed.

Well, lets put it this way Mate…
It would be one fcuk of a coincidence if you where randomly bringing it up!
You havn’t seen an advert for a Mac? What about the old G3’s or whatever with the funky colours, plus what do you do when you see an advert for an iPhone or iPad you go check out their site and what do you see? Their computer range!
It’s not specifically about the computer anyways, you’re paying for that brand - Apple. You’ve been sucked right into the consumerism that they dish out willy nilly. The apples were actually competitively priced around 15-10 years ago. They’ve just built up that brand image just like the way clothes do and decided to charge an extortionate amount for what they actually are.
It’s not that I don’t like apple perhaps I wasn’t clear. It’s the fanboyism that’s associated with it all, especially when people are screaming “Oh they’re the bees knees, totally the best” when it clearly isn’t the case. I think now you don’t even have to build a custom computer, you can install it onto a laptop. Granted it won’t have all of the same buttons and stuff, but it’s Mac OS running on a cheaper system, with better hardware and at a lower cost.
Yes they look nice, but for that extra £500 I could buy monitors, midi controllers, even another screen, possibly.
How would King Solomon solve this perpetual riddle?
I’d try pulling the Petals out of a Daisy… But they’re out of season.
He’d probably just go around stabbing mofos in the neck with a wee knife until everybody succumbed to his mighty will. That’s how they did it back in those days.
Must of lived in the east end of Glasgow then, where they all tend to flourish amongst the sewage culminated from the west, south and north.
There are tons of bams about aye, but it gives Glasgow a unique flavour. I’d rather have that than all the colly woddled toffs floating about in Edinburgh, greeting each other with compliments instead of, “Aw right you ya wee prick.”
