x2

Just had a listen to your tune, nice work buddy. Impressive, especially considering you’re only 17. Bet you’re chuffed as f*ck.

thanks boys! had to mess withit abit more to make them happy so it souds much beter now but aparently i cant show you;):stuck_out_tongue:

they are getting two remixers to remix the tune so im delighted and they sed they wil do the same for my next tune

@chris; i asked about arelease clause, they said not o boter with it as they want to get it out to beatport quick and easy because the remixers have deadline extentions… so they said 8 - 10 weeks maximum:)

thnaks again lads!!!

Hey Dean that is great news!

Let us know when its on beatport and i’ll be happy to buy it to show you some support!

[quote]chris agnelli (19/08/2010)[hr]I’m a bit of an expert in this field having sign many, many **** contracts. Looks fair enough, the only thing I would suggest asking for is a release clause - they have say, 4-6 months to put the track out, otherwise all rights revert back to yourself. You may not see any money from this deal, but that may not be the point at this early stage in your career. Talk with the label and find out what their plans are for, and how they are going to release the track. If they are talking about remixes this is another feather in your cap. If its for one single cool, however if it is for more make sure its non-exclusive.

Good luck with it

Good adivce, I just asked for this so will see what they say!

Well done dean

congratulations :hehe:

just a question, how did the label actually find you?

they just commented on my track on soundcloud… simple as that… i made a set though and sent it to 100 followers, maybe it had something to with that… either way soundcloud works

Dean, I love that bass sound! Can I ask how you did it? and I like ur deadmau5 bleeps great song!

haha probably the simplest sound to make, if you have sylenth load up the big bass preset and just place along note on C1 and sidechain it! add lots of distortion and a bit of reverb, delay and EQ and you have it! dont think there was much else too it, simple saw sound on a low octive!

Awesome! good job man, keep us updated. congrats again!

Haha, last questions, what effects did you put on your white noise? I noticed a lot of electro house producers doing that same effect of putting the white noise after the building up (like an explosion) but I cant recreate the sound theirs does much like yours. Mine is to bland.
