What DAW do you you want the HTSL videos in?

So then guys what DAW do you want SA to use when they make the HTSL videos?

i’ve added my vote, however i did do one of these polls a month ago and ableton won by a land slide with only a small % going to logic and cubase.

would be interesting to see if the people using the forum are still mainly ableton users

live 4 me !

I went here… saw Ableton was dominating videos… switched to Ableton… then my vote is for Ableton

I Agree  hmm. i think people have their own opinion . i use ableton to perform in my  gigs but cubase is my first love . so i still would like to see more cubase tutorials please

To be honest it doesn’t really matter to me, it’s easy enough to work cross platform. I’ve managed to follow Cubase and Logic platformed tutorials onto my Ableton no problem. So whatever SA decides, i’m happy.

Ableton all the way baby!!!

I know I’m gonna get flamed for this (especially as a n00b :stuck_out_tongue: ), I love the vids and have been having great fun implementing what I learn into FL Studio, but would be awesome to see some courses specialising in FL…

awaits the flames

One of many things I do like about this site is I have never come across any flames, we all have different levels of skills and use differnt equipment and there are some great folks who are only too happy to help.

As for Fl. I know some proffesional producers still use it so your request is valid even if I am an Ableton boy myself :stuck_out_tongue:

I personally think it would be nice to see some tutorials done in other DAWs, esp. Logic, simply to have something different. Different DAWs offer different workflows to, well, accomplish similar goals and results. Those different workflows can also be the source of inspiration and new techniques.

Ableton Live is great, but it would be nice to see other DAWs shown, as well as maybe combining some elements of both.

I currently use Logic and Live together, Live for much of the drum and percussion work and then bounce and use Logic for arrangements, synth (automation) and effects.

personally i ditched ableton 7 for cubase 5

i followed the first couple of part sof the techno tutorial last night in ableton…

and there were lots of things i didnt realise ableton could do

but im definitely glad i made the switch to cubase for production

i can see where Live has advantages in a dj / Live setting but i just seem to get much more satisfaction out of the sounds i can create in cubase

so more cubase tutorial please!!!

Think this needs a bump and hopefully someone at SA will see and take note that it’s all about ableton:cool:

But saying that they start bringing out god forbid more more reason video’s or even logic ones then I would want a htsl Dom Sweeten even though it has been out voted!

Cubase & Logic for me, just to give a bit of variety & to help others who use these DAW’s.
