What styles of music do we all like?

Ronseal thread.

My personal favourites are: in no particular order

Oldskool Techno, House, Hard Trance, Hardcore.

Late 90’s, funky, & psy trance.

Dirty Electro

Hard Dance

And others I cant actually remember right now.

As for after starting to produce, my likes have widened, I now like some Dubstep and more DnB than I would have, also have started to understand the ways of other styles I don’t like… Hardstyle, Hip Hop etc.

What about the rest of you?

In chronological order:

Rave/Old Skool Hardcore, Hardcore, Jungle, Drum & Bass, Gabba (yes really), Nu Skool Breaks, Bassline and Wonky electro, Hard Dance

That’s what you’ll find on my iPod etc. Notice not many ‘house’ genres there. Truth be told I’ve never really got tech house/minimal etc. I like the idea of it, but the tunes on Beatport just seem dull.

I do like it a lot more when I hear it out, and I have more of an interest in it now since learning to produce.

To be fair though, with me it’s not the genre I like, it’s music with impact. I like banging drum and bass for example, but dont like the more liquid/clever stuff. Same with Everything else.

So banging XXXX House is fine by me. Music’s gotta have balls.

Rave on…

Deep and Soulful House!

Mainly love House,

But also love Trance and Techno.

I love music performed on Piano, also accoustic guitar.

Can’t stand RnB.
