Just remembered that I had one of these:

With a bit of tweaking, it’ll split the audio to the H’phones. Not sexy… but its already here
ICN (26/04/2011)
What are you running the BCD on Chekka?
PC or Mac? Which OS?
I presume your being ironic when mentioning lovely and vista in the same sentence
well i am mate but tbh i havent noticed much bother from it
i have switched off a few of the more pointless functions i suppose but i bang away with traktor and ableton on the laptop and have had no bother really
used to produce on the laptop as well
people go on about vista but im fairly ambivalent about it really
i suppose its easy to fall into the “everyone says its **** so it must be” mentality

I think that is an excellent attitude. You are right, people love to jump on the band waggon and people esecially like to kick microsoft. In my day job I am a Microsoft gold partner and I can tell you Vista is actually sh!t. It is great that you haven’t had problems with it, but I hate it
I use vista 64bit and it alright as long as you turn off all the crap you do need. I’ve also got 7 on other laptop and I can’t justify the upgrade to 7 on my studio pc.

i must not be pushin it hard enough!
Aw Man… Traktor 3 is crashing non stop with Snow Leopard.
Look what I found from NI:

Snow Leopard & Traktor 3 do not work together! LOL
Upgrade time so. Balls!
The first thing about the X1 that makes it the goto controller is the hot cues..
Remix magic in seconds.. by simply referring to the audio wave display on Traktors gui..
you'll hot cue the builds trills & drops in the flash'est of flashes' best toy of the 21st century... oh yeah & the ability to save these cue points.. brilliantly laid out for Traktor.
understand stuff gotta go but .. blue is some beast of a synth...
its gotta go its gotta go I guess.. ;)
Yeah… Really like blue actually Lenners.
You could make some nice sounding things straight out of a INIT patch in seconds. Everything is laid out really well.
But… I have to get rif of the lot cos it all stuck to the Key. Fk it!
Picked an X1 up for €120 today… with bag. Spotless… looks new.
Havent plugged it in yet… Have exams coming up, so dont need the distraction.
Just messing about with it… really surprised by the build quality. The pots are good, clicking in the middle like a real mixer. They’re not “loose” either… & they feel like you’d have a good bit of precision with them.
The buttons click too… which makes you feel like they are actually doing something.
Bag is excellent quality.
Glad I got it so far! LOL
Looks brand new, hope you have fun on your new piece of equipment.
After your exams we should get a Techno Train going with a few of the Tech Heads.

@5id - Cheers Man… May as well be I think. Wasnt gigged & has original packaging - so thats as good as you are gonna get.
Whats all this Train / Tank stuff - like a collab-y thing? or a special method of transport?
A few of us do a 20 -30 min mix each and put it all together.
