Theres actually a good few things on this site. Drum & Instrument racks…
I’m back, this time with a „multisample“ preset for Ableton Live’s Simpler.
The sound source was again an Elektron device, the Monomachine. I have sent full 8 octaves directly to the Fireface400 for recording. Every single note is up to 7 seconds long. The result, 96 samples in a slim ( 75 MB ) Ableton Live Pack.
With the power of Simpler´s sound sculpting features you are able to tweak it into really nice chords, stabs or even pads. Your creativity is the limit.
Here is a demo recording which i have done in Ableton Live, what you hear are two Simpler with loaded MnM-SAW -OM- Preset and one of my free Drumracks. (+ little Reverb and Delay )
Attention! I made an mistake, the notes are not „in tune“. When you play a C, you will hear an A #.
Here are the quick solution: setting Simpler´s Transpose to -4, that’s it.
Got a hold of the Mono/Simpler set last week, at first i wasnt getting anything special but i spent some quality time on tweaking the filter ADSR ect. and have found a new “deep dubby stabby” sound that i cant stop amazing myself with.
I think i would cream ma pants with a shot on the Mono, f**k knows what would happen if any of the other Elektron family members were present.
I d/l’ed the drum kit and the sampler plug from that site and I’ved tried the drum kit already. I can see myself using that on a track for sure. Got some sweet little features all routed well.
