Interesting what this Guy does with the Automation of the Delay.
Pity he cant find the lane to automate his personality! LOL

I’m sure lots of ye have seen this Vid already - I certainly have, but its a great idea!
He records a delay tail & has it playing over the track when it kicks back in… kinda like the way you would hear the white noise etc…

Expert Sleepers - Little Spacey
Been messing around with this Demo since last night. Really thinking about buying it.
Very easy to get a Fkd’up sound out of it.
Lots of automation options with the little sliders under the Dials.

Dunno about those Delay FX above. The King Dubby is probably the best. The Space Echo Emulation has a load of hiss in it every 10sec’s & tbh… you cant enjoy using it to find out if its any good or not. Dissapointing.
But this Shakepad is very interesting from a filter / spot FX or sound design POV.
ShakePad is a virtual multi-effect unit intended for real time sound manipulation via an X/Y pad. It includes 50 different high quality effect algorithms with full stereo operation. Summary of main features:
Effects overview
ShakePad offers 50 different full stereo effect algorithms. You can click on the effect name in the middle top of the interface to select a new effect from the pop-down menu or use the +/- navigation buttons. This is the complete list of all available effects:
Some interesting stuff here if you cant afford a Guidance Counsellor or Life Coach:

Sidechaining
Heres a tip that has just come to me while doing something here.
Lots of people probably do it - but its just dawned on me. Maybe it might help you:
I’ve a track here that I’m working on, a 2 Note Synth thing with a longish release & a single Tom are hitting at the same time.
So, I bussed the tom to another channel.
Muted the Output & Called it Tom SC. This is now a Sidechain ready signal, which you will not hear.
Stuck a Compressor on the Synth Channel & lightly Sidechained it with the Tom SC.
Makes the right difference. You can hear the Tom & it doesnt get totally drowned out, which I what I need.

cheers icn :), i suppose another option would be to download the demo have a play with it and create your own effect chains in ableton saving some cash along the way:). but it looks a very cool vst

all very true what he says
@Mussi re:Shakepad.
Only downside to it as far as I can see is that its not too tweakable. Which is probably cool - kinda limiting… but you cant really make it sound different to what it sounds like.
Still - getting some crazy sh!t from it. It throws out noise every 10sec. I kinda like it! LOL
Love the X/Y - Thats what the Logic Plugs are missing. Thats what I love most about Live - the FX. They’re great. Sound brilliant from the get go. Theres a little more tweaking needed in Logic. But what can you do?

I first tried it a couple of days ago.
Sending a Snare as a SC trigger to Duck some Delayed hats. The hat pattern was in an odd time signature, looping over 32bars, so it was sometimes hitting too close to the snare.
Worked for that, so I tried it again… Sounds grand.
even though i’ve lost a large % of my hearing at the moment this still sounded a really good collection for what you guys are after

Nice one Jon, saw they released that the other day. Wave Alchemy are pretty cool.
& I’ve got the Drum Tools Vol.1 Pack - The Min/Tech House labelled pack.
http://www.loopmasters.com/product/details/459/Drum_Tools_01
Some really nice hits in it. No loops, just oneshots.
yeah they always seem to have their sound design keyed in no bad samples in their packs.
